Comparison
Drawquarium vs Insaniquarium
One is a 2006 arcade aquarium with aliens. The other is a 2026 drawing sandbox with a desktop wallpaper mode. The shared word is aquarium, not the job the game asks you to do.

Side by side, from the two store pages
I am not calling Drawquarium a spiritual sequel. Nobody official has said that. The table is the overlap and the split I can actually source.

Which one I would open
Open Drawquarium's demo if you want to sketch a fish and leave it swimming behind your icons. Open Insaniquarium if you want the older loop of coins, eggs, pets, and an alien attack you can lose. Both are single-player Windows games on Steam. Neither store page describes online play.
Review counts move. The 4,921 figure is the English Steam summary I read that day, not a lifetime trophy. Drawquarium's full game has no user reviews because it is not out. The demo's 38 reviews are a small sample of a build the publisher later trimmed.
Questions people ask
Is Drawquarium the new Insaniquarium?
No source says that. They share a tank theme and almost nothing else about moment-to-moment play.
Which is cheaper?
Insaniquarium Deluxe was $4.99. Drawquarium has no price yet, so a cheaper claim is impossible.
Do both have demos?
Yes. Drawquarium's is app 4331760. Insaniquarium's demo is app 3322.
